Infusion Drug medication is often used because of the control it provides over dosage. For instance, in some situations, people must receive medication very quickly. This includes emergencies, such as a heart attack, stroke, or poisoning. Infusion Drug administration quickly sends a medication directly into the bloodstream. The intravenous route is the fastest way to deliver medications and fluid replacement throughout the body, because the circulation carries them. Intravenous therapy may be used for fluid replacement (such as correcting dehydration), to correct electrolyte imbalances, to deliver medications, and for blood transfusions.

At the current time, Bayerpaul Fanavar’s production line of infusion drug produces more than 12 different products. Other than supplying domestic market, a portion of products also are exported.






Magnesium Sulfate,

 The active ingredient, plays a number of important roles in the body, and is involved in the regulation of the nervous and blood systems. This medicine is a solution for injection or infusion and is used for magnesium deficiency and prevention and control of seizures in patients with severe pre-eclampsia (high blood pressure associated with pregnancy).


Dextrose is a type of sugar that is essential for normal body function as it is an important source of energy. Glucose Intravenous Infusion is used to reverse a coma caused by low levels of glucose in the blood. It is also used as a source of energy or when carbohydrates levels are low. It can also be used to reduce the pressure of the fluid of the brain and spine and/or swelling of the brain.

Potassium chloride

 Potassium chloride is used as a medication to treat and prevent low blood potassium. Low blood potassium may occur due to vomiting, diarrhea, or certain medications. The concentrated version should be diluted before use. It is given by slow injection into a vein or by mouth.


Sodium chloride

Sodium chloride is the major cation of extracellular fluid and functions principally in the control of water distribution, fluid and electrolyte balance and osmotic pressure of body fluids. Chloride, the major extracellular anion, closely follows the physiological disposition of sodium cation in maintenance of acid-base balance, isotonicity and electrodynamic characteristic of the cells. Thus, Sodium Chloride (0.9%) Intravenous Infusion has a value as a source of water and electrolytes.

Lidocaine hydrochloride

Also known as xylocaine and lignocaine, is a medication used to numb tissue in a specific area (local anesthetic). It is also used to treat ventricular tachycardia and to perform nerve blocks. Lidocaine mixed with a small amount of adrenaline (epinephrine) is available to allow larger doses for numbing, to decrease bleeding, and to make the numbing effect last longer. When used as an injectable, it typically begins working within four minutes and lasts for half an hour to three hours. Lidocaine mixtures may also be applied directly to the skin or mucous membranes to numb the area.
